Meet Miss Brodie!
Usual boringly dour weather. Electric light on all day. Decided to see what was happening in the Basin. On the way there I took the package with my sister's photos to the Post Office. Actually it was quite light and I only had to pay the basic First Class stamp - 62p! Daylight robbery! Anyway, on the way back to my car I came across Brodie. She was patiently waiting for her owner, and not at all worried about the persistent drizzle. Fortunately I had my little camera in my pocket so took a couple of shots of her. Her owner came out of the shop and we got talking. It seems Brodie is nine years old and was a runner at one time - now rescued by a very caring lady. She is a beautiful dog and very attached to her rescuer.
I tied with going onto the Basin or not then, but decided to go. Got some super shots of the Heron - unfortunately all blurred by rain and fog:-( Then onwards to Lidls to buy some of their Deluxe Fillet Steak. I like shopping at Lidls because their car bays are wider than Tescos where I've had wing grazes in the past!
Hope you like Brodie. It has Scottish and Irish origins and can be used as a girl and a boy's name. Some say it originates from Pictish royalty times. It certain suits this Brodie - a very royal dog indeed!
Have a good weekend:-)
