Not entirely convinced about the habit of abbreviating 'Out of Office' it's not exactly that many words and in most cases 'out' suffices.

Anyway, I managed a brief period OoO at lunchtime. Was pleased to bump into John, a friend and former colleague of E's.

The trip back to Malvern this evening started badly.

It took an hour to do the 9 miles from work to pick up J's art from college. A good reminder why I've few regrets about leaving Cambridge. There seemed no point trying to get out again as the traffic was completely stationary so I had a pizza first, after which the traffic had at least got up to jogging pace.

Until the A14.

However, once past Huntingdon it was plain sailing all the way. Depending on how you look at it, it took 2.5 hours, or 5 hours, to get home.
