Happiness

....... can apparently be bought in a kit costing two pounds. This was the scene in the main shopping street in Carlisle and I just had to photograph it. Just before I took this shot I had noticed a middle aged man sitting on a bench in the middle of crowds of people sobbing, and a woman who seemed to be a special constable or community support worker, talking to him. He literally put his head down in his hands and the tears were running down his face and I think she was trying to establish who he was and what was the cause of his distress. I didn't linger because I didn't think it was fair, but I hope something was sorted out for him.
