Church in the Park

Celebrations are winding down after JJ's 70th birthday, just one more to go next weekend. Last night we met several of the badminton club members at an Indian restaurant in town and left it to the staff to decide on a mixture of dishes, which worked out perfectly.

We had a walk this afternoon keeping to the pavements and into our local park, which is privately owned and has a number of very fine trees and also the village church. Crops are also grown throughout the centre of the park and so walking is confined to the potholed roads which serve half a dozen houses on the estate together with the church.

Tomorrow it's back to pruning in the community orchard.
