"The Concrete Corvette"
Apparently, this is the nickname for Sutton Coldfield's Sea Cadets' training vessel - I have no idea why. It floats on Powell's Pool, the largest of the Park's seven pools, at around 28 acres. The Pool was created in the 18th century to power a water mill, that rolled steel to make pens.
Very grateful to have had a walk with M in Sutton Park, and for his trademark curry for dinner, and that my daughter and grandson are here to keep me company while M is out till gone 2am, serving the party goers of Sutton town centre.
