A grey Glasgow day with no undies!
This will be a real quickie as I can't stop yawning and I haven't a lot to tell you today.
I am so glad I got so many lovely Ayr skies this week catching them while they were there. One thing I have definitely learned this week is that you have to trust your instincts and act quickly!
Today, although it was surprisingly mild and I didn't even need gloves, it was a very grey day with not so much as a hint of sunshine.
Mom and I caught the bus to Glasgow at 11:10. It was a full bus and when we got off it, it was clear that Glasgow was full too. People were rushing everywhere with bags of Christmas shopping. We went straight to John Lewis and quiche and tea for lunch.
Afterwards, we had a wander round the ladies' lingerie section as I felt like getting something errrm... nice for a change, just in case I get run over by a bus/train/tram you understand? Will someone please remind me not to take mom with me when I'm looking for that sort of thing in future? Mom was waving various skimpy items at me yelling 'Roz! What about these ones?' or 'My God! Who'd pay that much for something that covers less than half your arse?'
I had a blood red face when we left there a little later and I was too mortified to buy anything! I think most of Glasgow knows my bra size now too!
After a slight wander into a packed Buchanan Street, we headed back to the bus station after I'd grabbed a couple of unimpressive pictures. I won't go into the toxic waste dump sat behind us....
