GMF.....

A trip out to Garvald Christmas Bazaar in the morning (but managing to miss LizImbrie and family), back into town to meet Iain for coffee and a very quick visit to a couple of shops, then home for the afternoon. This evening we made our way to the Usher Hall to see John Grant performing with the Northern Sinfonia. Bought the tickets way back in April and heard him with the NS on 6Music a couple of months ago, so knew we were in for a treat. We weren't disappointed.

Highlights were Vietnam (goosebumps), Queen of Denmark, Pale Green Ghosts and, in the encore, a song possibly called Good News, a Germanic euro disco Cabaret-esque ditty. Awesome.
