Blip Humbug
A blip meet was arranged in Manchester today. Couldn't make it as us Tuttles were busy on all corners of the Port........
I had to do the food shop early(er) to avoid the stupid Black Saturday rush. I dropped Mrs. Tuttle & Tuttle Jnr off at the church to help set up a stall on the Christmas Fayer while I helped out with a some ground maintenance at the scout hut. This was swiftly followed by a trip to the skip with our old tube TV (after 3 rejects from from Cash Generator, a TV repair shop & the scout committee). Such a shame as it works perfectly fine. Move on Sye and enjoy the new one.
On the return to the Church I couldn't resist blipping this grumpy chap. I was amazed he didn't fall asleep as the chair he was in looked incredibly comfy. We helped pack things away once the draw was made. We won nowt. I, being male, and possibly the youngest adult there had to shift many chairs and tables upstairs. Now I'm aching. Mrs Tuttle did wonders on the stall takings (up on last year). The cakes were delicious too: few left over so we ensured they weren't binned!
The In-Laws popped round for tea while Mrs. Tuttle powdered her nose for a mums night out. My mother-in-law claimed I was trying to kill her with my home made potato wedges. I had no idea Paprika & Garlic are forms of poison. I'll sprinkle less next time!
A taxi run from me made sure Mrs Tuttle, her sister & friend arrived in Chester on time for their night on the pop.
Match of the Day for me......
