Maple and Gleditsia

A Gleditsia as seen through a Norwegian Maple in my front yard. I had to plant the Gleditsia, there had been a beautiful one at my parents house and Dad had it cut down because it was shading the neighbours. Mum cried and cried over it. The maples are a nod to my Canadian relatives. They are self seeding so much I could have my very own 'grove'. Pity they're not the syrup kind
