Hummer gorging himself

Freezing temperatures again tonight....so as soon as this cute hummingbird finished his feast.....we covered the pineapple sage again. This little bird seemed to know he needed to really fill up because he stayed at it forever.
I love keeping the nectar coming and the beautiful flowers blooming just outside my kitchen window for as long as I can. The Pineapple Sage doesn't START blooming until fall and often the first frost here comes a short time later......but this year I was ready for it and I had a system in place to protect the plant!!! I am so happy to see it each and every day.
Yes, my hubby let me use his computer again tonight....but now i HAVE to give it back.
