Another custom in my village.
At the end of the year they cook a huge pot-au feu for approximately 60 people for the benefit of the local bowls game circle which makes for boisterous evenings with lots of wine and decibels. Very warm and friendly . A bit like here although luckily for hubby, they don't usually hang the singer :-))
