York Christmas Market

eeyore79 and I headed to York Christmas market for the day. Within minutes of getting off the train we discovered the most delightful little shop, Demi John (top left) where we were plyed with hard liquor and left with significantly emptier wallets!

We then proceeded to do the usual tourist site of The Minster (bottom left) and Shambles whilst discovering York was under siege from the Army (top right). They must have known Black Friday was approaching!

Whilst waiting for our train home we spotted a commemorative poppy train by East Coast rail.

All in all a lovely day out!
