Say cheese...

For cassegw's birthday I cunningly paid for him plus one to go on a day's photography course. The cunning part was that I reckoned I'd get to be the plus one.

It was about studio portrait photography, where you can take forever getting the lighting right, fiddling with your camera settings, and directing the victim until they look just as you want them to appear in the portrait. All very interesting, though it's not my kind of photography. The most directing I usually do is backing someone up against a wall without them noticing.
