Left camp to go visit the geothermal area of Wai-O-Tapu, first stop the mud pools, very gloppy and cool!

We then went to see the Lady Knox Geyser go off (which is set off every day at 11am) before going to Wai-O-Tapu geothermal wonderland....an amazing place, the Artists Pallet pool was fab, blue then green, orange, red and yellow, the different pools were cool, I could have spent hours there, it's set in an area surrounded by mountains.

From there we went to Huka Falls, a walk into Taupo along the river, before buying provisions for the Tongario Crossing tomorrow.
