Forever there

In the former home and atelier of Gustave Moreau (1826-1898). He left thousands of paintings & drawings to the French state, with the obligation to keep the collection together forever.

It is an amazing place (see article in the NY times). The visit starts in the first floor, with the apartment of Gustave Moreau. Tiny rooms, full of paintings and little things, giving the impression that he just left and never touched since then. Continuing to the second and third floor the big surprise awaits, with an enormous atelier and this beautiful staircase (better in large). Seems that a ghost also wanted to appear on blip ...
