Oak woods

When it gets too soggy to walk across fields and through vineyards, we can always find a bit of woodland that's drier underfoot. This one is just outside the village and appears to be fairly open, probably because someone has been coppicing in the past and hunters have been treading down the pathways. We even managed to find some holly with a few berries - quite a rarity in these parts!
