Nothing happens here...

Early one morning

Early morning at the harbour, not quite daylight. The Oban Express waits for the ferry bringing parcels to tranship to Glasgow and exchange a couple for Mull. The Croan's Kippers lorry waits for someone to unload the fish boxes as soon as they've finished loading the casks onto the AEC Mercury. The local fish wholesaler is parked up on the slipway to collect his catch of crabs, prawns and maybe a couple of lobsters. Apart from a small order going to a local restaurant the rest will be whisked out to the airstrip where they'll be flown off to London and onto the continent, selling to wealthy punters for way, way more than the poor fisherman could ever dream of getting. Such is life.
