Spanish Tavern

This is where we had lunch today.

We took our friend to Almeria Airport, ordinarily I don't go but being a Sunday and about lunchtime, we decided to have a bit of a day out!
After the airport, we took the coast road into Almeria and a little before we got into the city stopped and found this little place on the Prom, we had ordered our food and ten minutes after I had taken the picture, the place was packed.
If you only want tapas you have to sit at the bar as the tables are for diners.
We were brought spicy olives with carrot and peppers plus bread. Then our tapas arrived, Al had asked for Cazon en Adobo, this is Marinated Dogfish, which is marinated in spices overnight and then dredged in flour and deep fried - delicious. Then came our racion (a plate to share) of Hueveos Revueltos, this is scrambled eggs with vegetables and cod. All washed down with a beer, sin alcohol for Al! Lovely.

Off then for a walk on the prom, lovely day but very breezy.

Kangaroo steaks for dinner, hope it doesn't make Al hopping mad!
