Top end of Huntly Street, Inverness, about to be opened for traffic for the first time in months. They haven't finished yet, so it'll only be a temporary opening. Foggy again - all day. This was taken at lunchtime.

That sole tree was being trimmed yesterday. Probably for safety's sake, as the roots will have substantially trimmed and disturbed by the flood alleviation works. If they hadn't pruned the top, it would be very likely to blow over, or die-back, with the reduced root system not able to support all that's above the ground. A local lady was somewhat distressed at the process of cutting bits off, probably thinking that the whole tree was for the chop.
