Morning light in Saltoun
I put out the final controls of the Saltoun orienteering event as the sun was rising on what was, fortunately, a beautiful day. This was the first control on the easiest course (121: Path crossing) placed carefully on the right so the children as young as 8 who do the course (alone) realise that they need to turn right.
I didn't leave the woods until the sun was going down [only seven hours after arriving, this being Scotland at the end of November] but spending a whole day in sunny woodlands was a pleasure and playing a part in 125 people (generally) enjoying themselves was very satisfying.
Sorry my 100th blip isn't a better photo, but that's not everything.
