Simple....

if only everything in life was this simple.

The blip is me trying out the zoom on my new camera.

It has been a funny few days, starting with the call on Thursday night, the operation on Friday morning, Simon and Jack coming over Friday night, Saturday morning we went our separate ways, us in to Walden to get my nails done, Geoff to have a bet, and scare a few people with his eyes, Simon and Jack went for a 26 miles bike ride which included a stop for breakfast in the Mocha. Saturday afternoon, Simon and I popped into Walden to pick up my new camera and we ended up in the Cross Keys, him with a Guinness and me with a coffee. Sat and had a long chat, we were probably out over two hours, it is lovely to have my brother back and to be able to talk, he has been in counselling for the last year, and he is peaceful now and starting to believe in himself again, there were tears on both sides as we talked about our childhood and previous relationships.
The lovely thing was that there were no questions from Geoff when we arrived home, no where have you been what have you been talking about, just the kettle on and a cup of tea.
Quick wash and change and we went out for a thai meal in a local restaurant which was lovely.
Today, up and out with Simon and Geoff, Jack was supposed to be doing revision for his mocks!
Lovely scrambled eggs on toast while out, then back to cook a roast.
After a late lunch Geoff and I went to meet our friends Bev and Hedley, they have had a bit of a rough time lately, Bev was very emotional, and I had a job letting go of her when we said goodbye. I wish I could help.
Back home, Simon and Jack had left so a bit of washing, knitting and a bath.
It has been a busy skype weekend with everyone wanting to see 'the eyes', Jon and Dana yesterday afternoon, Chris last night who said to Geoff 'I thought you were getting your eyes done?, Mum and Dad after lunch as it is Dad's 81st birthday today, then Jenny so she could see how her Dad was doing.
