Deepest Darkest Peru

After rowing I raced over to Witney to take 4 year old Cara for her birthday treat - Paddington Bear the Film. With limited experience in a cinema she was rather non-plussed by the ads and the trailers: "If we want to see the film, why don't they just start it?" she asked as we sat through half an hour of pre-film guff. Indeed, Cara, indeed.

She was an excellent companion for a lovely little film and afterwards we wandered home via the toyshop and a cafe. All in all a very nice afternoon with my niece. I hope there will be many more to come.
