1 Year on

Wow what a year, 365 days as a married lady. If you had told me a year ago I would love Joe even more now I wouldn't have believed you but here I am and I really do. The past year has been the best year, not least the 5 weeks in America. So as we celebrate our first anniversary and reflect on all we have as a couple we have a lot to be thankful for. Sometimes I wonder if we really have much in common but as we awoke this morning and sat opening cards and gifts we laughed when we realised that actually we have more in common than we even realised and this just proved it when we had bought each other the exact same card. Joe had excelled himself with my gift. A personalised hand drawn musical transcript of our first dance song. (Best Friend by Queen). We went to Home for breakfast (pancakes for me of course), Bought a mattress for the new bedroom and then Joe had to go to bed as he is on nights tonight. Although this is not ideal I have had a wonderful weekend and I am quite lucky as this is the last weekend shift he will be doing this year. I am sat with the fire on with a bacardi in hand and as I post this blip I want to be thankful for all that I do have rather than dwell on what I don't.
