After being treated to fresh pancakes for breakfast, we took a gentle circular walk from the Longshaw Estate with Will & Helen and their two children incorporating the Grindleford cafe– somewhere we used to frequent quite a lot a few years back. It’s still an iconic place, serving traditional food and hefty portions in a great location. It was good and easy conversation all the way there and back. With sunshine!

These two fellas, Helen spotted. They had arrived on rather dazzling Harley-Davidsons and were chatting on the bridge over-looking the entrance to the Totley tunnel. They were lovely and very good humoured. Having come from central Sheffield, this was one of their favourite places to put the world to rights.
