Scottish Open

The band took part in the Scottish Open contest today, at Perth Concert Hall in Scotland.

We had a mammoth coach journey up, rehearsing at 4pm Friday, leaving at 5.00pm and finally getting to the hotel at just before midnight.

The band gave a great performance of Andy Duncan's Cantata, coming home in third place overall, with the added bonus of our soprano cornet player winning the "best soloist" prize.
