Rug
I also had to go to the big Swedish shop at the weekend.
Main mission was to buy some picture frames, but I was also tasked with purchasing a new rug.
Agonised over a choice between the hand-made, genuine, soft and lovely Persian article (at £250 a go) or the machine-made, non-genuine, slightly scratchy, fakey article (£35).
With a dog in the house, there was really only one sensible decision. But I am pleased to report that Nevis enjoys lolling about on it, and has not yet complained that is not as soft and lovely as a 'real' Persian rug.
