Blackpool

We ventured to Blackpool today, hanging our visit on the fact that I had a shirt to return to H&M and Blackpool was our nearest store.

Four donuts and visit to the amusements later we were driving along the golden mile (now un-illuminated or "dark") until we got to an area where there were some twinkly lights to point out to the children.

Before all that however, we were there to enjoy a gorgeous sunset and for once, I'd actually remembered to bring the camera and snapped this one.

I think it's looking at the South Pier (?) but stand to be corrected.

Anyway, another lovely day and a cracking end to the weekend.

Oh, and I exchanged the shirt for one that (a) fits and (b) isn't see-through.
