It's not turning out to be a great weekend. Mums birthday & Al & Clare insist we go to Cafe Rouge in the Oracle. Traffic jams, noise, crowded of Christmas shoppers - it couldn't be more wrong. Mum hates it & doesn't eat a bite - the food is terrible. She's pretty upset when we get home & almost withdraws but comes round in time for cake & presents. Nice when my American relatives call & very nice to get home to Coventry & Mac.
