Right before your eyes

Sometimes I get impatient, waiting for the right light to catch a sunset, as was the case this afternoon.
I went to a place I frequent, because usually, the sunset is quite beautiful here. The clouds were coming and going as the sun was setting. I kept looking around this tree in front of me, including it in some of the shots I took. Just then, the sun captured a single drip on the branches, as the snow was melting on the tree.
That is what I then focused on. So simple, yet so beautiful. A single drop, a tiny little portrait of the tree's branches. Life is good! :)
