Lugworms
The guys digging for lugworms were slightly hindered by Charlie who kept picking them up out of the bucket and asking 5 million questions as most almost 9 year old boys do, and Hilda who kept trying to eat them all.
Then we retired to the Cod & Lobster for a swift drink and a bite to eat before joining the locals for a sing song as the Christmas tree lights were switched on.
A visit from Santa, and Libbie got to tell him ("in real life Mummy, it is the real life actual proper Santa, look at his beard, it is a proper beard") that all she needed were some new colouring pens and some chapter books as she is dead good at reading now.
A pretty perfect end to the weekend.
