Cliff Walk Mansion

As always, when there is a plethora of good images to publish, one has to get the Editor involved to make the final choice.  This was M's.  Right as the sun was setting we went to the cliff walk which runs along one side of the peninsula on which Newport is situated.  This is where the Robber Barons of the Gilded Age built their fabulous summer homes, each trying to out-do the others in their display of ostentation.  Today we would call them Oligarchs.
