in the air

Remind me this time next year to never fly in and out of LA and Newark airports on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
After crawling in traffic for a few miles, we made it onto the jet only after they had closed the boarding ramp door. Treated to some spectacular views of Los Angeles (but sadly I had stuffed the camera in the overhead bin and couldn't get it out) and free snacks and movies on Virgin America. Newark is a quaint airport but collapses under the onslaught of holiday travel.
Now home and completely beat, but we made it.
This is decent large but mostly of interest to one who likes geography I suspect.
