We're Following the Leader

Today's walk took us from Waterfall Creek to Damper Bay, and we walked through these yellow lupins.  There were  lots of up and down hills to negotiate, but soon we were on top of a hill at our lunch spot, with lovely lake views.  

There was a team out filming riding bikes in isolated tracks, they chose this track, and were very disappointed to see 21 walkers ruining their scene!!!  The mountain in the distance is The Peninsula.  I lovely warm day, and a nice scenic walk.

On a tragic note one of the walkers from the other group fell down a cliff, and died at the scene.  We are all in a state of shock at the moment.  She is well known, and a very fit lady.  A very sad day for us all.
