Tales from the riverbank

Thanks to an oversight by the admin team and a late night rush yesterday the kids have ended up with the last three advent calendars in the shop. They are Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Wheat Free. We were concerned that they may also be Taste Free and Fun Free but whatever else they have stuck in there by way of replacement seems to be acceptable.

After that excitement it was out for a walk with the dogs along the riverbank and then another day in front of a laptop preparing for a series of meetings I'm running this week. Unfortunately Ruby wasn't feeling too well and I had to go over and pick her up from school just before lunchtime. Even more unfortunately some little scamps from S1 had set the fire alarms off in the school so all the pupils were shivering out on the rugby pitches and I had to avoid the fire engines.

Pork and apple casserole for tea, which nobody liked except for me and now it's time to run Joe round to his football training.
