So, farewell then...

Probably the last of his/her species, this creature was the product of a Young Enterprise scheme in about 1978. To prepare us for the world of business, a bunch of 6th formers were let loose with industrial sewing machines, and manufactured quite a few of these for sale to the general public (although realistically mainly to our parents).

This one was bought by my mum, who passed away quite a few years ago, and at some point it found its way back into my possession. But rather that leave it mouldering at the back of the cupboard, I have finally decided to release it back into the wild, in the hope that someone will take a shine to it at a local charity's bric-a-brac sale.
