Night Owls

Rather desperate blip today, as I was busy with no chance to get a photo earlier. The morning was spent at a U3A meeting, then lunch with a friend, followed by some Christmas shopping. It was dark by the time I got home, so just dashed into the garden (in the rain) to take a quick picture.

These owls used to have solar powered eyes which lit up at night, but they've become water-damaged and no longer function. However, I couldn't bear to part with them, so they sit on this rock just looking pretty!

The sunshine of yesterday was but a distant memory, as the rain returned today, but at least it was very mild. However, snow is forecast for the Grampians soon, so it won't stay mild for long:-)
