Scanning the papers

Ever since the beginning of October when I get tickets for next year’s Glastonbury I have been looking at the weekend papers to see who is touring in June and whether there is a hole in their schedule between at 24th and the 28th.
Well in yesterdays papers we find that the Moody Blues and Fleetwood Mac have holes in their published bookings. On the far side of the page there is details of a concert on Friday 26th with The Who, Paul Weller, Johnny Marr and more. Well a one off concert is not really likely and what have they to do the next day?. Sounds perfect. Unfortunately the Paul Simon and Sting tour would have finished a couple of months earlier so no rumours to be had there.
The “official” rumours page has 25 acts listed, including Elton John AC/DC Adele the Foo Fighters and Rihanna. The only confirmed act is Lionel Richie. ABBA were on this list but have now gone , as was Diana Ross.
In reality I don’t care who else will be there, the important thing is I will be there.
