Unabashed joy...
...is what I felt today. It wasn't particularly sunny or warm and just about the only thing I accomplished all day was to oogle out the windows to watch, in real time, the plants in the garden reappear after being buried for almost three months. This spot of color, albeit muted, made me really happy for this smashed pile of grass will get whacked off six inches above the ground and by July will be five feet tall again, or maybe this year it will be taller than my own 5'3"self.
Blah blah blah, I'm already gardening and the ground is still frozen two inches down. Tonight/today at 2:00 am, in less than two hours...yes Southern Hemispherites...weep, for we are taking back the sun.
Kittens. Don't you just adore them?
