Santa's Lap

We visit Santa every year at the Mall of America. He is so busy that we have to make an appointment to see him. We go late at night too, when Santa's elves and reindeer are sleeping and all the shoppers have headed home. My kids like to find out what list they're on and tell Santa the thing that they want the very most for Christmas. They are always considerate of Santa's financial constraints, seeing that he has to bring presents to so many kids. Toy building materials aren't free!

We almost were one short this year as sometimes when kids turn nine they might think that having an overnight with friends is more important than believing in Santa. Luckily I straightened him out on that. He'll thank me in 25 days.
