Quiet contemplation

A glorious day today, warm and very sunny. Amy sunbathed on the verandah(!) while I went to work. This evening we drove out for a walk on Bluecliffs beach. I rather foolishly wore sandals, silly girl as Bluecliffs is all pebbles. Hey ho.

We had spent all evening up until this point deep in conversation about our lives apart and there was some serious heart to heart stuff wrapped up in that time. I rarely regret things in life, I don't see the point. But i do regret not being there for my niece when she needed me a few years ago. Still, I get to see her now and me thinks she is quite keen to stay ;-)
