The Christmas tree had arrived from Norway and was up in Trafalgar Square today. The tree is a gift from the people of Norway to London to say thank you for Britain’s support during World War II. This historic tradition has happened every year since 1947 (a bit of copy/pasting gone on there, just to get the facts right!)

The square was fenced off and they were hanging, testing the lights out (always the worst part of decorating a tree!) so I got a sneaky look before the Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday at 6 p.m.
