Back to reality ...
... and the admin side of travelling.
We still don't know the outcome of Farida's India visa application but we are not too hopeful and are preparing for them to say its still being processed when we ring tomorrow. We decide to check out renewing our Nepali visas as they run out on 10 December. We hope to not be here by then but you never know.
First stop, post office to post some Christmas cards then to the Immigration Office which is just down the road. We find out you now need to apply online and then come to the office and we should have done it a week ago ... ooops! So back to the guest house to complete the online applications which tell us to go back to the Immigration office on 15th December - five days after our visas expire. We've heard its not good to outstay your visa in Nepal, even by a couple of days, so we'll have to go back to the Immigration office and ask them what the best thing to do is. We start to think about plans and whether we should leave the country and come back in if we're still waiting for Farida's Indian visa ... seems we're being ruled a bit by this at the moment!
If we're going to be here a few days at least we need to occupy ourselves somehow so spend the rest of the day checking out yoga classes, thinking about paragliding and looking at a cheaper hotel Dharma ecommended to us . We like where we are staying but this other place is half price (about £5 a night for the two of us) so we think we may change.
The photo is just one taken by the lake. The only other ones we took today were the signs from the Immigration office ... the flowers are prettier and marginally more interesting.
Tonight we watched football (Man City and Southampton 3-0) followed by a very spicy curry on the way home .... yum.
