In the car on the way home I heard my first Christmas Carol of the year. Being on Classic FM, it was In The Bleak Midwinter, sublimely sung - even though, for me, this is a bit early, I did not mind as this is one of my very favourite carols. And it fitted today's weather perfectly - it is a bleak, drizzly, grey day here; I am very glad to be at home.
