A couple of pages.

This shows a couple of sample pages of the book I'm writing/drawing. There's text and there are drawings. The page sizes are A6 and I'm putting the printouts into photo albums for the moment. (I can make alterations to content & reprint pages & change the order of the pages if ness.) The typeface you see is my own design.

I'm telling a story here, about a person called Agnes, and the book's in the form of a journal – part sketchbook, part diary. She's an artist like me and you'll find anything from doodles to drawings in there amongst her narrative of her day to day experience. It covers about 7 critical days of her life.

It's a novel accompanied by images, so maybe it falls into the category of Graphic Novel, who's to say. I'm a big fan of Graphic Novels, but haven't used a storyboard format and the action isn't illustrated as such; it's quite oblique.
I'll be posting more samples of the pages as I go along, which will show what this book is and what it isn't.
