Such a perfect day for photographing reflections - strong low sun and virtually no wind. This perspective on the Forth and Clyde Canal is looking north west towards the Campsie Hills north of Glasgow on the approach to the Maryhill top locks. The back yards of these newly-built homes are lined with high toughened glass barriers which are picking up light reflected from sunlit buildings in Maryhill Road. These are very thoughtfully designed family homes - safe for children but utilising this superb open canal-side location. The icing on the cake was a pair of swans swimming into the scene.
