Contraption

A month or so ago I had a lift back from Wales with Peter Arfield from the Bakewell Fly fishing shop who'd been attending a fishing conference there.
In one of the evenings auctions he'd successfully bid for this Heath Robinson looking Contraption.
He wasn't sure what it was but liked the idea of finding out...
It turns out that it's a home made line winder with lots of quirky bits on it such as a pencil holder and one or two others which he hasn't quite worked out yet what their purpose is.
Anyway we like it a lot, it's the ultimate in bespoke!
