All we like sheep ...
... run like the clappers when Flash is about. Apart from this little group who stopped and stared at two legs and four legs.
The munched bit is the area between where the last fence was last moved and its current (bad pun) position separating off the turnip crop from the sheep. The bare soil shows the way the sheep can clean out the every last little piece of vegetation. Nicely fertilise the ground, too.
I felt rather guilty that the electric fencing bit Flash on the back paws as she slightly misjudged its location when she jumped over the first fence, despite my holding the wires down to a height of six inches. The second fence (properly insulated) by the stile was therefore not an enjoyable part of the walk though she did fly over it in the end.
I expect the staring sheep were laughing.
