It seems everywhere you go these days people are glued to their phones or some other electronic device.....yes, even in Malawi!!  Spotted this guy as we travelled behind him today.....he was so busy concentrating that when the driver braked he almost fell off!!  The joys of modern technology!!

University students rioted last night - police had to fire tear gas (over allowances apparently).  Today as I approached the university, they were rioting again so we abandoned our journey.  Somehow students here don't seem to go for dialogue, just violence!!!
