The Ground Beneath My Feet: Left lying out

Every parent will recognise the scene - the floor turned into a minefield for bare feet. This morning, it wasn't my feet that got it but Ewan's. Ellen had decided that Truth or Dare Jenga was the game of the moment and left the blocks scattered across the carpet. Ewan, as boys do, decided to walk over rather than round. Of course, it hurts so he's immediately on his knees quickly followed by him falling forward onto his broken arm. Ouch.

I offered a wee cuddle and a few words of comfort before reaching for the camera.
