Britannia Bridge #Anglesey

A bright and sunny day after overnight rain. Pretty chilly though when I put the washing on the line mid-morning.

Made a few more pieces of jewellery then set off around 11.30 to meet the Tuesday Gang at Menai Bridge for our Chinese meal. I allowed myself time for a walk down to Church Island and along the Belgian Walk, such a lovely day.

There were eight of us at lunch today, so nice to see Marian looking so well and Eric R too. Next week it's our Christmas Dinner at a different location ...

Did a quick shop at the Co-op where I had a chat with Clarence whom I worked with when I was in my early twenties. I was a radio operator for the Water Board, he was on the maintenance gang and he and the other men used to wind me up and pretend they couldn't understand where they were supposed to go .... happy days :-))

Gathered more leaves for composting and was so pleased that the towels had dried nicely in the breeze.
